Bill Romeo is the CEO of Streamland Media, the world’s most comprehensive post- production powerhouse specializing in picture and sound finishing, VFX, customized workflows and media delivery.
Romeo began his career producing commercials for national and regional advertising campaigns, working on more than three thousand spots and eventually establishing his own production company. In 2016, Bill founded Picture Shop, a state-of-the-art visual post house offering complete and integrated services to both the feature and television communities, tapping into his thirty-plus years of industry experience. Prior to founding both Streamland Media and Picture Shop, Romeo oversaw Worldwide Sales, Marketing, and Branding for some of the industry’s largest competing post-houses and is credited with revenue growth and providing services that are globally recognized with Emmy nominations, HPA Awards, and Visual Effects Society Awards.
During the course of his career, Romeo has proven himself a stalwart leader capable of navigating the rapidly changing demands of a fluid marketplace, due in part to an open- door policy and honest approach in building relationships. By looking at the big picture and fostering an environment conducive to creativity and collaboration, his clear vision and one-on-one management style have contributed to his long tenure as a leader in post-production.
Bill Romeo proudly extends his leadership acuity to his charitable endeavors. An avid golfer, Romeo hosts an annual golf tournament benefiting the American Heart Association. Romeo also prides himself on creating an inclusive and welcoming community and regularly giving to those in need.
Nathan joins Streamland as a proven leader with close to 30 years of global experience delivering results at Fortune 500 companies. He past roles include CFO positions of various private and public companies as well as being the President of Rubbermaid Commercial Products. Earlier in his career, Nathan had significant consulting experience working for both KPMG and PwC. He is recognized as someone with a focus on global growth, performance improvement, and delivery of results.
Sharon Purnell is a highly accomplished Human Resources Executive who joined Streamland Media in 2021. Sharon has over 20 years of Human Resources experience and has been promoted through her career at companies such as the General Electric Company, Honeywell Aerospace, and Underwriters Laboratories. Before joining Streamland, she was the CHRO for Riddell Sports, the leading manufacturing company of American Football Helmets and equipment.
Sharon specializes in strategy and organizational development. She has experience in all facets of HR, including People Strategy Deployment, Performance and Talent Management, Culture and Engagement, Benefits, and Compensation design.
Sharon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a Master's Degree in Organizational Development. In her free time, Sharon enjoys playing golf and traveling around the world.
Industry veteran, Nathan Boyd, joined Streamland Media as its Chief Information Officer in May 2022. In his role as CIO, Mr. Boyd oversees the company’s worldwide IT infrastructure and strategic planning, and implementation of related technologies. He manages a global team in delivery of the post-production industry’s most advanced technology systems. Prior to joining Streamland Media, Boyd was Head of IT for Warner Brothers Interactive, where he led the transformation of the global team from an ad hoc organization to an agile enterprise technology organization. He previously held positions of VP of Production IT Operations at Deluxe, and serves in a leadership role at Virgin Hyperloop. Boyd holds a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Wales and is working toward a supplemental degree in Cyber Security.
Picture Shop President Cara Sheppard has nearly 20 years of industry experience, which includes studio operations and facility management in both production and post production. Prior to joining Picture Shop, she served as managing director for London’s Twickenham Film Studios. Sheppard previously led Warner Bros. De Lane Lea as managing director for nearly five years. She also spent six years in senior management at the Comcast-owned British broadcaster Sky. She got her start in the industry as a freelancer on-set in production and then as a post production supervisor. Sheppard is a full voting member of BAFTA, a consistent contributor to industry journals and panels, and serves on the facilities board of the UK Screen Alliance.
Davenport was named President of Ghost in 2021, bringing with him 30 years of industry experience managing global facilities and producing visual effects for commercials and features. He got his start at Digital Domain, and prior to his posting at Ghost, served as COO at Method Studios, a division of Company 3. He previously held the role of COO at MPC Advertising. During his time at Ghost, he has concentrated on unifying technology and workflow while paying keen attention to the talented team he oversees. Davenport led teams behind the scenes of such notable recent titles as Top Gun: Maverick, The Witches, Loki and For All Mankind.
David Lebensfeld founded Ingenuity Studios in 2004 and has been a driving force behind the studio's growth and expansion since it’s inception. He oversees business operations and strategy for the studio, overarching team leadership, new business development and bidding, client relations, visual effects supervision, and shot work. Over the years, David has provided visual effects supervision for many memorable works including the films "Get Out," and "A Star is Born;" music videos for Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, Ed Sheeran, and Billie Eilish; the shows "The Night Agent","Let the Right One In", “Euphoria”, and “The Walking Dead;” and commercials for advertising agencies such as Crispin Porter and BBDO, for clients such as Spotify, Old Navy, and Fox Sports (including two for the Super Bowl). Based in Los Angeles, David is a member of the Visual Effects Society, and the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Matt Dubin has been with Formosa Group since inception and has played an integral part in the growth and success of the business. Currently leading the company world-wide, Dubin is committed to maintaining the founding vision of Formosa Group as an unparalleled community for creative talent, support staff and clients.
Prior to joining Formosa, Dubin built a diverse range of experience in the film, television and music industries. He began his career asa live sound engineer and tour manager, and then spent ten years traveling the world with iconic music artists while concurrently working with Bill Graham Presents at the historic Fillmore Auditorium. His interest in film sound brought him to Los Angeles, where he took a position as a transfer engineer that led to ten years working in technical support roles at a variety of post sound houses. In 2006, he transitioned to management, holding leadership positions at Widget Post and Todd-AO.
Dubin is currently an active member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Jake Torem is the President & Creative Director of Picture Head and the Creative Director of Streamland Media. He has been with Picture Head for the past two decades and has worked in every aspect of post production. This has given him first-hand knowledge of the finishing process and mastery over all major formats (HD/4K/HDR Picture Assembly, Color Grading, VFX, GFX Creation, Stereo/5.1/Atmos Audio Design/Mixing and Mastering). This depth of knowledge and breadth of experience allows Jake to deliver the highest quality product.
Jake has also been instrumental in making Picture Head a finishing powerhouse. He has developed a diverse range of end-to-end global post production pipelines, streamlining customized workflows tailor-made to each studio’s and filmmaker’s needs. He has led the way in building the company from a team of 10 to a team of 200 with a revenue stream of $50 million annually. From $5 million Super Bowl spots to the biggest trailer drops in history, Jake has led marketing finishing campaigns on nine of the top 10 opening weekends and on 7 of the top 10 highest grossing movies including Black Panther, The Avenger’s Trilogy, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Jake came to Picture Head through his work as a filmmaker. He is a graduate of NYU’S TISCH School of the Arts and has written, directed, and produced the award-winning feature films Letting Go and Looking Through Lillian and the award- winning short film Le Corset. Jake combines his training in film with his experience in post production to realize the artistic vision of the client. He has a hands- on management style and is known for his integrity, his fairness, and his willingness to listen and hear. He likes to see the people who work for him succeed, and he goes the extra mile to help make this happen. Jake is committed to honoring and fostering diversity both at Picture Head and in the industry at large. He truly believes in the Picture Head Team. Jake gives the company his heart and his soul.
